McCormick recently partnered with CFS for a dedicated two-and-a-half-day Hygienic Design Training at the CFS Institute in Shanghai, bringing together 33 food safety, engineering, and operations professionals to strengthen their expertise and align on best practices.

The training combined classroom learning with hands-on exercises, focusing on how hygienic design principles can be applied to equipment, infrastructure, and facility layouts to enhance food safety and operational performance.

Offered exclusively for McCormick associates, the session created a highly collaborative environment where participants could share experiences, address real-world challenges, and develop a consistent approach across teams.

“The training content was solid and professional, delivered in a way that was both thorough and easy to follow, while also being engaging and enjoyable,” said Liyi Gu, Supply Integrity Associate Director at McCormick China.

Delivered at the purpose-built CFS Institute in Shanghai, the program included interactive workshops and a factory tour, allowing participants to connect theory with practice in a realistic production setting.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the CFS instructors for the two-and-a-half-day professional hygiene design training. It was truly an invaluable learning experience for everyone.”
