Commercial Food Sanitation (CFS) is pleased to share the on-demand recording of a webinar hosted by the Institute for the Advancement of Food and Nutrition Sciences (IAFNS) on June 16, 2026, focused on sanitation strategies for low-moisture food production environments. IAFNS collaborated with the International Association for Food Protection's (IAFP) Food Hygiene and Sanitation Professional Development Group (PDG) to deliver this educational program.

In low-moisture facilities, we need sanitation approaches that minimize any unintended consequences in growth conditions.

Low-moisture facilities face unique cleaning challenges where the introduction of water can increase operational and food safety risks. In this session, industry CFS industry expert Daniel Culpepper and Dr. Lynne McLandsborough provide an overview of best practices for cleaning in dry-processing environments and discuss the practical application of a novel dry-cleaning and sanitation technology designed specifically for these settings.

As food manufacturers continue to strengthen preventive controls and environmental monitoring efforts, innovative sanitation solutions are becoming increasingly important for managing risks in low-moisture production facilities.

CFS is proud to share this educational resource from IAFNS with food safety, quality, sanitation, and operations professionals seeking practical insights into the latest developments in dry-cleaning and sanitation technology.

Watch the recording to learn more about best practices for cleaning and sanitizing low-moisture food production facilities.
