Daniel joins Commercial Food Sanitation as a Food Safety Specialist with a Bakery and Snack focus. He has over 15 years of progressive experience in quality assurance, food safety, and industrial bakery operations with Bimbo Bakeries USA.

Most recently serving as Production Manager, he led a seven-line fresh and frozen facility with over four hundred employees, successfully launching multiple new products for both flagship brands and national customers. Previously, as Quality Food Safety Manager, he restructured the site’s HACCP plan, implemented modern technologies, and delivered outstanding results in BRC, SQF, and AIB audits. In that role, he also supported bakeries across the US and Canada with both Food Safety and Operations initiatives.

Daniel is enthusiastic about growing teams through knowledge sharing and developing individuals to their highest potential. His whole-business understanding gives him a unique perspective to aid cross-functional teams in collaborating to achieve superior results.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Longwood University. His certifications include PCQI, HACCP, and SQF Practitioner.
