Ross joins Commercial Food Sanitation as a Food Safety Specialist with extensive experience in the food industry working for both Nestlé and Kraft Foods. At Kraft Foods, Ross was a Global Quality Auditor responsible for auditing quality systems (including sanitation, pathogen environmental monitoring, pest control, HACCP, etc.) to meet a variety of regulations, including USDA and FDA. Most recently, Ross was their External Manufacturing and Supplier Quality Leader, responsible for assessing and implementing world-class quality programs/systems.
Ross holds a B.S.A in Food Science from the University of Georgia, is FSSC 22000 Lead Auditor, and is HACCP certified. During his career, Ross has worked in multiple sectors of the food industry and gained experience in poultry, meat, seafood, cheese, dairy, beverages, low acid canned foods, coffee, and produce segments. Some key initiatives Ross has led throughout his career include preparing multiple food manufacturing plants to successfully pass FSSC 22000 certification, lean manufacturing implementation, and run time extensions and validation.
