Before joining CFS, Katie led efforts in co-manufacturer and supplier compliance through onsite visits, focusing on enhancing and driving continuous improvement in food safety and quality across diverse food sectors, including fresh-cut produce, meat, beverages, dry-pack goods, supplements, and more.
Katie also brings manufacturing experience in an FSQA role. In this capacity, she held responsibility for developing and maintaining BRC and SQF prerequisite programs, along with delivering food safety training to employees.
Katie holds a degree in Nutrition with minors in Food Science and Agricultural Communications from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She is a certified expert in Seafood HACCP, Better Processing Control School, SQF Practitioner, FSMA PCQI, and Internal Auditing.
