Bonnie Tang is a Food Safety Specialist at Commercial Food Sanitation with over 15 years of experience in the beverage and food industry. Throughout her career, Bonnie has led food safety, sanitation, and quality management programs in Ready-to-Eat and Ready-to-Drink manufacturing environments for companies such as Danone (previously WhiteWave) and Shamrock Foods. The core of Bonnie’s experience is helping Grade A dairy and plant-based facilities design audit-ready systems that fulfill regulatory, customer and business requirements while driving operational improvements.
Her hands-on expertise includes HACCP, FSMA preventive controls, SQF certification, CAPA development, change management, and recall readiness. Known for her collaborative approach and dedication to practical, sustainable food safety solutions, Bonnie is recognized for conducting root-cause analysis, applying risk-based decision making, and translating complex requirements into clear and actionable guidelines for all levels of an organization.
Bonnie earned her bachelor’s degree in Integrated Science and Technology with a concentration in Biotechnology and Information and Knowledge Management and a minor in Mathematics from James Madison University. She is certified in HACCP, FSMA PCQI, SQF Practitioner, and OSHA 10. Bonnie is bilingual in English and conversational Cantonese.
